PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY
There is an active Prayer Shawl ministry in which members of the parish sew, knit, or crochet
shawls which are blessed then presented to people
on our prayer list. It is very well received by those receiving them'.

COFFEE HOUR
Each Sunday, following the 10:30 AM service, a coffee hour is held to allow everyone to meet
for casual conversation. An opportunity to meet and mix.

ANGLICAN CHURCH WOMEN
ACW is open to all ladies of the Parish. They meet the second Monday of the month for lunch. The ACW
undertake many fund raising events to support the parish and to support various outreach projects.
In particular they hold an annual card party as well as an annual rummage sale. New members welcome.

VISITATIONS
In addition to visitations by the rector to the sick and shut in, there is an active visitation committee.
In addition to arranging visits tothe sick and shut in, they also arrange transportation to and from church,
to doctors’ appointments etc
There are two long term care facilities in the Parish where we hold monthly communion services. Wesburn
Manor and Westbury Lodge on the West Mall

SENIORS PROGRAMS
Several times a year a seniors luncheon is held at the church following the mid week communion service.
Each Wednesday a 10:30 AM communion service is held followed by a coffee hour.
This has proved popular for many of our senior members.

SOCIAL CLUB
The club arranges a variety of social events throughout the year. Membership is open to all.
Progressive dinners and outings to various places have
proven to be popular

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR
In the month before Christmas, a bazaar at the church features handicrafts by women of the parish,
home baking, books, and a silent auction and more. A fun event

SERVERS GUILD
Young people act as servers to assist in worship services. They robe, process with the choir,
leading the way by carrying the cross, and perform other
duties during the service. Always open for new members
