Sandra apprenticed with a German craftsman for 6 years and was taught the art of traditional furniture construction repair and finishing. Although she prefers to do repairs to older furniture she has built a custom one-of-a-kind desk for a local lawyer (shown in the May 2000 issue of Canadian Home Work shop) as well as some smaller pieces for friends and family.

Established in 1997, Sandra Dee's Furniture Restoration, offers a variety of services. The women and youth shop, headed by Sandra, provides quality craftsmanship and value for your dollar. Her two assistants strip furniture with lightning speed and accuracy, do colour matching, touchups and finishing, and ensure all projects are completed quickly and to the customer's complete satisfaction.
